Lennox

Today, Lennox is known throughout the world as a leader in cooling, heating and people-comfort in both residential and commercial environments. But the Lennox story dates back to 1895 when Dave Lennox first built and marketed the industry’s first riveted-steel furnace. Nine years later in 1904 Lennox established a one-step distribution network, selling directly to installing contractors.

In the years that followed, warehouses and factories were built. In 1943 Lennox pioneered the forced-air furnace for residential heating.

Two decades later Lennox expanded its product line with the introduction of residential central air-conditioning systems.

The story leads up to today, as Lennox, an international company, continues to provide people with here in the Chicago area with fine products to meet their seasonal comfort needs. With All Temp providing Chicagoans expert repair and services so their Lennox equipment operates care-free at peak performance. In fact, since 1934 All Temp has been the go-to service company for Lennox and all major brands of heating and air conditioning. Founded by Walter Mehrholz in 1934, the company today (All Temp Chicagoland Heating and Air Conditioning) is still family owned and operated—spearheaded by Walter’s grandson, Robbie. They have offices and service people working throughout the Chicago metro area.
